FAQ

Do you accept custom designs not listed on the website?

I love creating custom statement pieces! I have listings for my most-requested items, and I offer many options to upgrade and further customize those items. If you have a custom piece in mind that is not listed, please send me a message describing your idea. Once we discuss the design and determine that it is within my scope of work, I will do my best to provide a price estimate.

Do you use real fur?

I exclusively use faux fur of the highest quality. I can source tons of different colors and fur styles to bring your vision to life.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes! I offer Klarna or ShopPay to divide your purchase into monthly installments. I can also set up a custom payment plan. Custom payment plans will require a deposit to reserve a place in my waitlist.

Can I pick up my order in person?

If you are in the Denver area, I can remove the shipping cost and arrange in-person pickup when your item is ready.

How do I wash my faux fur or LED wearable item?

I recommend spot cleaning if there are small stains or specific areas needing to be cleaned. You can do the steps below, concentrating on those problem areas without getting the entire garment wet, or you can give the whole thing a bath!

**If your piece has LEDs, the USB controller and battery pack can not get wet! I recommend sealing the controller (the part that plugs into your battery) in a plastic bag while cleaning your item and avoiding direct contact or submersion in water.

  1. Remove everything from the pockets before washing.
Prepare a sink, large container, or bathtub with COLD WATER.
  2. Place your item in the cold water with a gentle cleaning agent or laundry detergent. Lightly massage fur and liner to release unwanted smells or stains.
  3. Drain your dirty water and use clean water to rinse out any remaining cleaning product.
  4. Once rinsed, gently twist, roll, and shake out as much water as possible.
You can also try pressing or rolling with a towel to absorb excess water.
  5. Hang in a cool, dry area and gently brush or comb out the fur.  For large items, you can hang it near a fan or AC to speed the drying process.  DO NOT put it in the dryer. Once the item is dry, you can give it one last brush to keep the fur looking fluffy!

If your faux fur has visible kinks or bends, an easy way to get them out is to gently comb or brush the fur and give it a quick blast with a hair dryer. Be very careful not to concentrate the heat in one area, since the fur is very sensitive to heat damage

Can LED components break?

I use flexible LED components that are waterproof (except for the controller and battery), but like any electronics, they can break. Breaks tend to happen with repeated bending or rough handling. I reinforce the LEDs at high-bend areas, but I still recommend being gentle with your LED wearables while wearing and storing. If you do notice a break (parts of your item no longer working) it can be repaired. If you have the right tools, I can walk you through a repair at home or you can send your item back to me and I may be able to repair it for you. I ask that customers pay for shipping their item back when requesting repairs.
